CAP200DG-TL Zero Loss X Capacitor Automatic Discharge IC SOIC-8

CAP200DG-TL belongs to CAPZero series, a zero-loss automatic X capacitor discharge integrated circuit packaged in SOIC-8 surface mount form. This power management IC is specially designed for AC-DC conversion systems with X safety capacitors.
When AC mains voltage is present, CAP200DG-TL blocks current through the X-cap discharge resistors, limiting power consumption below 5mW and achieving nearly zero power loss at 230V AC. Once the AC input is disconnected, the device automatically activates the discharge resistors to release residual charge stored on X capacitors, fulfilling safety discharge requirements.
The component supports X capacitor values ranging from 100nF up to 6μF. Designers can freely select X capacitors to optimize differential-mode EMI filtering and reduce the cost of inductive components without raising standby power draw. It features simple two-terminal operation and high robustness, complying with EuP Lot6 energy regulations for low no-load power adapters and power converters.
Operating temperature range is -10℃ to +105℃, with MSL 1 moisture sensitivity level, no limitation for shelf storage. The chip is supplied in tape and reel packaging for mass SMT assembly. Typical applications include power adapters, open-frame AC-DC converters, household power supplies and industrial low standby power conversion equipment.
